CarAdvisor is the online customer review portal for all services, companies, and additional equipment of the Volkswagen Group brands.

1. CarAdvisor offers the following features

1.1. Rating companies

The platform gives customers and visitors of a car dealership the opportunity to publicly rate their visit to a car dealership.

1.1.1. Verified ratings

A few days after a visit to the repair shop, customers receive an email with the request to rate the company. If the customer provides a rating and review in this way, we know that they actually have been to that company. Their rating on the platform will receive the “verified rating” seal of quality.

1.1.2. Unverified ratings

Customers can also rate a company without being asked by email, for example, if there is no known email address for that customer, or the customer is writing a review on a visit that took place some time ago. The customer would go to the dealer’s platform or website and access the evaluation process from there. The company itself, the employees (but not in a public individual evaluation), and the service used (vehicle purchase or a rendered service) can be rated. In addition, the customer can write an additional review and recommend the company. An overall rating for each company is calculated from the detailed ratings.

1.2. Search for a company

CarAdvisor provides information and opinions about companyes as a decision-making tool to customers.
- Customers can search for companyes on the platform that would fulfill their needs.
Parameters such as proximity or average overall rating assist in the search.
Customers can take a closer look at the reviews of different companyes and also schedule a repair shop appointment right away.

1.3 Evaluate additional features

As part of CarAdvisor customers can also rate additional car accessories. Two months after buying a vehicle, they will receive an email asking them to rate their car’s additional accessories. These ratings will be implemented in the Car Configurator of that brand’s homepage and help other users make their purchase decisions.

2. Disclaimer

The comments generated on the platform do not represent in any way the opinions, views, and judgments of Porsche Austria and have no relation to the company. The authors are liable for the accuracy of the information. CarAdvisor or its registered dealers will not change any of the ratings. However, CarAdvisor reserves the right to delete certain comments without notice if they include unethical, offensive, or unlawful comments or they are of a character that CarAdvisor would classify as unacceptable.

3. Privacy

The customer is the owner of his/her data at all times and can edit and delete ratings. Reviews are only possible with a registration under the announcement of an email address. The user can delete this customer account at any time irrespective of any ratings or reviews provided. If the comments are to be removed as well, this must be done as a separate step. Verified customers may be contacted by the dealer based on location data to clarify a review or rating. Ratings are displayed using the first name and the first letter of the last name.

4. Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (WZG), which implements the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public bodies.

  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Our platform is compatible with screen reader software, which helps visually impaired users understand and use the content of our website.
  • Responsive Design: Our website is designed to be optimally displayed on a variety of devices and screen sizes, from desktop computers to mobile devices.
  • Alternative Texts: All images and multimedia content on our platform are provided with alternative texts that offer descriptions of the visual content, making them accessible to screen readers.
  • Structured Forms: Forms on our platform are clearly structured and provided with descriptive labels, making their use easier for all users, including those with motor and cognitive impairments.

4.1.2. Ongoing Improvements

  • Adjusting Color Contrasts: We are currently working intensively on optimizing the color contrasts on our website to ensure that all text and graphic elements are easy to recognize and read, especially for users with visual impairments.
  • Increasing Touch Targets: Some touch targets, such as buttons and links, need to be increased to a size of at least 24px to facilitate use for users with motor impairments. This adjustment is also in progress.

4.2. Creation of This Statement

This statement was created on June 27, 2025.
The assessment of the website was carried out through a self-assessment applying the WCAG 2.2 guidelines and regular internal tests with assistive technologies.
